Haverhill is a historic New Hampshire town with a population of about 4,500. Resting in Grafton County, Haverhill has many points of interest, including Bedell Bridge State Park, Black Mountain State Forrest, Kinder Memorial Forrest and Oliverian Valley Wildlife Preserve. Originally known as Lower Cohos, the town was settled by citizens from Haverhill, Massachusetts. There are several seats up for grabs in this year town meeting, which should be exciting. Haverhill will be holding town meeting on Tuesday March 9th at 7:30 pm. Also, pols will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, where several positions will be voted upon.
